You must have read a lot of articles on internet emphasizing to write what is trending right now. True! But what if you don’t really feel for it. You don’t want to write any of that. This is similar to saying “Do what other successful people are doing and you will be in trend!”. Why? You should always carve your own niche. The fun in being 100% yourself is just so amazing. Yes, it is great to get inspired but that inspiration should be used as a motivation to stay original and believe in yourself and your abilities.
In fact, you will be effortless when you speak your mind. Writing, blogging or whatever your passion is, will seem like an enjoyable task. You can do that even while you are sleeping. Amazing, isn’t it?
I believe that getting to know yourself and do what you really like is how successful people become successful.
Break the Status-quo: I felt adrenaline rush when I write something that people say it is of no use. Hello! How do you know for sure that it not going to work? This is exactly how entrepreneurs are born as well. They don’t listen too much to others. They are a little crazy(or at least that is how they are perceived in the beginning) and they have their own unique style.
Steve Jobs once said “Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
Do you feel that you fit into this kind of description. Congratulations! You are going to change the world in your own way. You may be bringing a small change to the world but for you it’s a great change. So, stick with it. Don’t listen to people. They will always distract you. That is why I always believe that a mentor or an expert always comes in handy. They will never charge or would charge only a little to provide you the right direction. And there is no harm in investing in that.
Use #socialmedia right: Although, if you have your own style, you basically don’t need much support. But in order to really shine in the internet and social media era, you should know how to use social media wisely. This can take you to your goal faster. So, if you are a Start-up founder, you can find great people and resources online to polish your product. Not to forget the investors, who would like to invest in your idea. Connect with people of the same interest on Twitter, Facebook and many more sites to take advantage of the rapidly changing entrepreneurship world. If you are reading this blog, there are good chances that you had come from a link that I would have posted on my different social media accounts.
Stay away from the herd: People remember you more and much more faster due to your uniqueness. You will find so much creativity when people are making their Bio, logos(for their blogs), background and many more things that you see on their profile. In order to really stand out from the crowd, you got to stick to your style and be consistent with it on all social media accounts. This is an easy way for your readers/customers to find you. I try to keep same kind of pictures in almost all of social media accounts. This way people remember me how I look and stay with me in a more organic relationship. This is one of the main reasons how you convert your followers into successful leads.
What is your style? How are you different from others. Share with me and I will surely appreciate it and share it in my tweets.
All the very best and keep rocking!
